Frequently Asked Questions What services do you offer at Kennington Pointe? Kennington Pointe is committed to creating opportunities for seniors to continue to lead meaningful lives. We offer Independent and Assisted Living Services. Kennington Pointe has 2 studio, 17 alcove, 80 one-bedroom, and 23 two-bedroom Independent Living apartments and 30 studio apartments dedicated to Assisted Living. Why should I choose Kennington Pointe? Beyond the choice of assisted or independent living services, Kennington Pointe is a warm, welcoming community, offering spacious apartments, gracious living and service amenities like dining and housekeeping in a beautiful, classic southern-styled building. Many of our apartments have spectacular views of our beautiful courtyard. From our unique programming to our individual relationships with each of our residents, satisfaction is the most important factor in every decision we make. How do I know what services are needed for myself, or my loved ones? Our senior manager and assisted living director visit with each potential resident and complete a care assessment. The assessment helps the senior and the Cordia staff understand the senior's ongoing needs. We can then decide jointly whether assisted living or independent services are better suited for the senior. Do you have trained staff members to assist with the care services that you provide? Trained Resident Care Assistants are available 24 hours each day. A licensed nurse supervises staff and is available weekdays and is on call during weekend hours. Is Kennington Pointe close to shopping and public transportation? Yes. Our van will take you to various destinations on a regular basis. Cordia is close to shopping centers, which offer grocery stores, banks, drug stores, restaurants, hairdressers, drycleaners and tailors, and clothing shops. We also schedule transportation each week for resident medical appointments. Can I have overnight guests? Is there a charge for that? Yes, you are welcome to have overnight guests. If a guest stays in your apartment, there is no charge. We do also offer a guest suite at a minimal nightly cost, including breakfast. |
