Frequently Asked Questions What services do you offer at Franklin Park? Franklin Park is committed to creating opportunities for seniors to continue to lead meaningful lives. We offer Independent Living Services supported by an in-house home health care agency to provide personal care services should those become necessary. Franklin Park has 50 studio, 60 one-bedroom and 19 two-bedroom apartments. Why should I choose Franklin Park? Besides offering independent living services in a supportive environment, Franklin Park offers spacious apartments, gracious living and amenities like our cafe market and fitness room in a beautiful, newly renovated building. From our unique programming to our individual relationships with each of our residents, resident satisfaction is the most important factor in every decision we make. Is Franklin Park close to shopping and public transportation? Yes. Our van will take you to various destinations on a regular basis. Cordia is close to numerous shopping centers, which offer grocery stores, banks, drug stores, restaurants, hairdressers, drycleaners and tailors, and clothing shops. We also schedule transportation each week for resident medical appointments. Can I have overnight guests? Is there a charge for that? Yes, you are welcome to have overnight guests. If a guest stays in your apartment, there is no charge. We do offer a guest suite at a minimal nightly cost, including breakfast. Do you offer Assisted Living Services or a Continuum of Care? Franklin Park provides its residents with the opportunity to stay in their apartments for as long as possible. While the community is not licensed as an Assisted Living Facility, we are able to provide the full array of personal care services typically offered in assisted living. Services are provided through a licensed home health care agency by trained care attendants with oversight by a licensed nurse. Franklin Park residents are able to access the full spectrum of personal care services while staying in the comfort of their spacious, independent apartment. |
